Pastor David and Dee Dee Thompson strongly believe in Godly submission and accountability to those in authority. This provides not only needed prayer and support, but also safety and protection.

Activation Ministry Center is submitted to several different areas of accountability and oversight:

Outside Overseers

Dr. Russ & Lana Frase – Joshua Nations
David and Dee Dee Thompson hold their ordination with Joshua Nations International. Lana and Russ provide an apostolic covering of protection and counsel. Joshua Nations was established in 1998 to facilitate national and international ministry through spiritual, social and humanitarian measures.

Dr. Russ & Lana Frase, married 37 years, have served for 37 years in ministry. They have planted and pastored churches in Indiana, Texas and Colorado for 23 years. Russ established a K-12 Christian school, and with the help of a great staff,created and accredited Rocky Mountain Bible Institute in Arvada, Colorado. Dr. Frase also serves as a National Accrediting chairman for the International Accrediting Association.

Russ and Lana have been local hosts for the TBN and KRMT-TV television programming. Recently, they founded Joshua Nations which takes them internationally planting Bible Schools and raising up Christian leadership. They are a tremendous asset to Activation through prayer, counsel, and through international networking.

Rich and Gail Harris – Living Word Ministries International Gail and Rich founded Living Words Ministries International in 1991. Since then, they have ministered in Europe, Israel and the US. They planted The Living Word Ministry Center in Colorado in 1998. In 2002, they started the Golden Eagle School of Practical Ministry in Golden, CO. Their goal is to restore and activate the prophetic ministry, prayer and intercessory lifestyles, healing and other gifts all in the power of the Holy Spirit. Board of Elders

Kelly and Pamela Hughes
The Hughes serve as Elders at AMC giving oversight to the Singles and Young Adults Ministries. They have served the Lord in various ministry capacities for over 20 years. Kelly and Pamela are licensed ordained ministers with a background in teaching, counseling, and humorous team preaching. Their passion is to see others come into a reality of intimate relationship with Jesus and experience the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Both serve as Elders of Activation Ministry Center. Their heart’s desire is to see young adults find their destined calling and purpose in God’s plan. Kelly and Pamela are originally from Fort Worth, Texas.

Risa Garrett
Risa serves as an Elder giving oversight to the Children’s Equipping Ministry, The Youth Ministry and Benevolence. She is also Director of prayer and intercession. She has been involved with children’s ministry for several years teaching all ages. Risa and her husband were also foster parents for 7 years. Risa has served faithfully in various fascets of ministry thoughout the Body of Christ.

Don and Lana Booher
Don and Lana serve as AMC Elders giving oversight to Women’s Ministry, The Healing Place and Men’s Retreats. Lana has a B.S. in Education from Southwest Missouri State University. She has ministered in various areas within the body of Christ especially with children and in prayer ministry. She has served as nursery director and as a children’s Bible teacher. Lana has a passion for God’s healing to be released to those who are hurting. She began to see Jesus use her in this arena years ago. Through dreams and prophetic confirmations, she was told that the Lord would use her to pray for the sick. Lana also has a heart for women and desires to see the Lord ignite and release them into their destinies.

Don came to Christ in 1972. The Lord has used him in a variety of leadership roles. He served on the Board of Directors for Way of Faith Christian Academy in Virgina as well as on the Board of Directors for Way of Faith Boys Home.
