Equipping Teachers

Julie Filson - Director of Adult Equipping Ministry
Julie Entered into full-time ministry in 1976 and has taught the Word of God in everything from Men’s groups to Christian schools, from churches to conferences. At the Lord’s prompting, she founded and pastored a church in Limon, CO for three years and saw the church grow incredibly during that time.

In 1985, Julie began Intercessors for Colorado, a ministry focusing on praying for spiritual transformation in Colorado, and later, the Rocky Mountain region. To attain this goal, she taught aggressive intercession throughout the region, held state-wide prayer meetings, and mentored prayer groups throughout the area.

During the IFC years:

  • Served on the founding board for Rocky Mountain Prayer Network a.k.a. Rocky Mountain Concerts of Prayer, an organization dedicated to bringing unity to the body of Christ through prayer.
  • Served as state coordinator for the National Day of Prayer for three years
  • Worked with an inner-city ministry to join Christian adults with at-risk youth
  • When the IFC assignment was completed, Julie resumed the teaching ministry as the director of Julie Filson Ministries. Her greatest passion is helping people understand the glorious love of God for them and their place in the New Covenant.
