We Will Lift Up Our Flags In The Name of The Lord-Ps. 20:5
During our services, you may see people waving flags and banners during praise and worship. There are specific reasons why this is being done. This is not done lightly...it is done with intention and passion. Following are a
few reasons to raise up the flag!
Flags Welcome The King - Palm branches were used like flags to welcome Jesus as He made His triumphant entry into Jerusalem. "They took palm branches and went out to meet Him, shouting, "Hosanna! Blessed is the King of Israel!" (John 12:13).
Flags and banners are used as an act of warfare - Many times as the Israelites went forth into battle, they sent the worshippers and those who raised the banners before the army.
Even the colors that are waved have prophetic significance during praise & worship.
