Destiny’s Door Ministries
Kelly & Pamela Hughes - Facilitators

The vision of Destiny’s Door Ministries is to equip young adults in charting their course towards their destined future with God. Through spiritual guidance, prayer, and the discovery of their gifts and talents, they will find the pathway to their career, ministry, and daily purpose of what God put them on this earth to accomplish. This ministry will assist in networking with businesses and ministries to allow each person to uncover and actively pursue their interests in the marketplace or ministry.

AJ’s (Activation Journeymen)
Kelly & Pamela Hughes - Facilitators

AJ’s is a group of young adults (20 to 30) who want to pursue fellowship with one another, and have the desire to become focused on their spiritual journey. This group meets in different settings as they become equipped for activating one another to give and receive prophetic revelation, reach out to the community, evangelize, grow in the knowledge of God’s word, deal with the reality of working in the marketplace, and have fun relating to one another.

Jeremiah Ministry – Singles Over 30
Dee & Wayne Symanietz - Facilitators

Dee & Wayne Symanietz are the facilitators over the singles over 30 at AMC.  Jeremiah was single in a time when the Old Testament had no word for bachelor. He was single in a couple’s world and it was God’s will that he be single. Jeremiah is a role model for singles as he handled his singleness and/or loneliness in five ways:
    1. Recognition of God’s calling.
    2. Trust in God’s Control.
    3. Possession of God’s perspective
    4. Placed value in prayer.
    5. Had an appreciation of friends.

These five points fall in line with the vision statement developed by the singles themselves.

The purpose/vision of the Single Adult Ministry is multifaceted. To create a safe, supportive environment in which singles can grow spiritually; develop genuine, God-breathed community; and demonstrate the love of Jesus to those in desperate need of more of Him.

Our most important purpose is to know our Lord Jesus more deeply and fully and to grow consistently in the knowledge of His Word.

As community, we want to learn to develop Godly friendships, esteeming each other as beloved of the Lord Jesus. As we break bread, give of ourselves, laugh and cry together, we will grow in trust and love.

As ministers of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, we seek opportunities to share His love and life (through our individual and corporate giftings) with each other, our church body, and the world as God directs.
